Who We Are
TropeWorthy started because we were exhausted. Not from reading — never from reading. From the endless, soul-crushing work of finding a good romance novel in a sea of reviews that either contained spoilers, had nothing to do with whether the book was actually romantic, or (worst of all) gave five stars to something that ended without an HEA.
We are a team of dedicated genre readers — the kind of people who have strong opinions about the correct ratio of banter to angst, who know the difference between a slow burn and a slow burn, and who will never, ever forgive an unfulfilling ending.
We built TropeWorthy to be the resource we always wanted: a curated recommendation site that speaks the language of romance readers. That means tropes front and center, heat levels clearly labeled, and honest reviews that tell you exactly why a book earned its stars.
Our newsletter, The TropeWorthy List, goes out every week with our latest picks, hidden gems, and the occasional heated debate about whether a certain beloved book actually had a satisfying resolution. (It didn't. We stand firm.)
